I showed my SS24 fashion collection titled Dapper in Detritus: A Love Letter to Plarn Ecologies. This whimsical and gender-euphoric collection of garments, shoes, and accessories, all made of trash, calls for an abundant circular economy wherein our waste is seen as having infinite potential for creative and radical world-building. It is a collection for and by the apocalypse and seeks to provide a model for the creative reuse of plastics and textiles that deepens community knowledge, embodiment, and art education.
